Artist Story: Unfortunately, at this point, Im too old to make the trek up the mountain to this marvelous place. It is also too long of a flight for my body as long flights were difficult when I was younger.  Although it is not really an island, I thought it fit in best in the this category rather than the Texas and Nature Category, because it is set on a Peninsula at the Cape of Good Hope between the Indian and Pacific Oceans. If you have an opportunity to visit this sight and can make it up the mountain and see the zebra in their natural habitat and the other animals their as well, take me with you in your mind. Enjoy your adventure to this magical place. There are so so many wonderful, beautiful and intriguing places on this beautiful planet that God created for our enjoyment. I can not even begin to imagine what heaven might be like. as a reward for us to enjoy. Can you even imagine what heaven will be like if it's so beautiful here.  Although this painting shows a night sky. It's best to come down from there before it starts getting dark.
