My Love is as Deep as the Ocean Set of Two Oils

Somewhere in the deep wild ocean of the South Pacific. You can see for miles and miles and its all the same. Deep dark blue with white caps on a breezy day, or just solid dark blue on a still day. Where the ocean meets the sky there is dark blue and light blue or a bright medium blue. The sky usually has clouds. Although there is a lot of beauty, the vast openness and depth, and aloneness certainly brings many thoughts to mind.  What was it like in the beginning when God created earth and sky and separated land and waters and created light. And oh, that ocean at night. Pitch black aside from the twinkling stars more numerous to count. Which leads us to the painting Rose Nebula.  Although I LOVE to snorkel in the ocean, the depths of being one person free out in the wild ocean is a bit terrifying. One must always look up frequently to be sure the boat is within a quick reach. One must always look around and behind because ocean creatures are silent. The things you hear are only the sound of water in your ears. Total "silence" in connection to the "real world".  Yet it is so easy to become completely lost in the "new realm" in which you are engaging with beautiful fish and creatures you do not even know. The beauty that God has created is so spectacular and relaxing, that one must keep their awareness focus on where you are in relation to the boat. It's very important to be able to reach the ladder quickly because those silent creatures can appear out of no where and certain sharks are not friendly.  I had to learn to not become lost to the fascination of another realm where there is beauty, silence, peace and relaxation. At one point, I think, oh I could float here forever with that snorkel and mask. But the mind and the body do not always communicate with each other and the mind can play tricks on you when in circumstances of fantasy and reality. See Rose Nebula next.
